I first met Blake and Chelsea just a few days after they got engaged, actually! They were guests at Kevin & Haley’s wedding when we struck up a conversation about their engagement and wedding plans! And as they say, the rest was history!

For their engagement session, we visited one of my new favorite places, Hawkesdene, which is nestled in the mountains of North Carolina. We enjoyed hanging out with Blake and Chelsea, their parents, and Rob and Phil, the owners, that weekend before, during, and after the engagement session. That weekend only made us all the more excited about this wedding day!

Blake and Chelsea’s day was so special… starting with a father daughter first look that made me cry right along with them, to Chelsea and Blake’s adorable reactions at their own first look, capturing Chelsea’s father walk her down the aisle in their home church — a moment that I know both of them have been dreaming of their whole lives — to the lovely reception at the bride’s family home. So many precious moments that we were honored to capture. The bride’s cake was one of the most lovely displays I’ve ever seen and the comfortable, yet classy atmosphere at the reception was heaven to photograph!

Blake and Chelsea and their families have a special place in our hearts and we loved working with them so very much! Blake and Chelsea are currently honeymooning in Ireland (JEALOUS!), so I’m not sure if they are able to read this while their gone but just in case…

Blake and Chelsea, we hope you are having as much of a blast in Ireland as we had photographing your beautiful wedding day! I’m excited to share with you just a small handful of my many favorite photos from your day! Enjoy! :-D

Father daughter first look… I definitely choked up! It was so sweet!    Could their reactions be any cuter?!  Those colors!!!Blake and Chelsea got married at Chelsea’s childhood church. It was so special to be able to capture all of these moments for them in such a personal location for Chelsea!  Blake and Chelsea took a few minutes to open letters they had written to each other…  I love the pink dresses up against that brick color! So pretty! Blake and Chelsea got married in Chelsea’s home church!  It was lovely and so special to see just what that meant to their family and friends! Blake and Chelsea’s reception was at Chelsea’s family’s home. Backyard weddings are my favorites!!  What a stunning cake display!!  Blake had two groom’s cakes! I loved this sitting area up on the porch… How gorgeous is this sunset and location…and couple?!?!  Love this shot so much <3  Favorite! The new Mr. & Mrs. Prestridge!  Chelsea and her father surprised everyone with a choreographed tap dance! It was AMAZING!!   I think it’s safe to say that everyone had a BLAST!!!  When not one, not two, not three, but FOUR of your brides are at a wedding, you have to get a photo with them!!! Love all these ladies so much!!! <3 <3 <3
