Autumn Wedding at Stone Bridge Farms || Greg & Jenny

Weddings

October 10, 2018

Well that’s a wrap! Greg and Jenny’s wedding was our last wedding of 2018 and I have to say, we ended this season with one of the most beautiful weddings and couples! Greg and Jenny got married at Stone Bridge Farms in Cullman, Alabama. We love this venue and their wonderful team of people who make sure that every one of their couples has a magical day from coordination to their on-site catering and florals — perfection. I can’t wait for you guys to see the gorgeousness of their ceremony and reception decor! I’m not even kidding when I say that each site took my breath away when I walked in.

Greg and Jenny have been such a delight since the first email I got from Jenny. I wasn’t planning to add any more weddings to my 2018 calendar when she emailed me, but I just had to work with them after reading her email and learning that she had her heart set on having me photograph her wedding. What an honor! I have to say that I am so very glad I decided to add just one more wedding! I have really enjoyed getting to know Greg and Jenny via Facetime, their engagement session, then even more on their wedding day.

Greg and Jenny decided not to do a first look, so their first moments together on their wedding day were at the altar. I noticed something beautiful about them as the ceremony started. I could see that Greg and Jenny don’t just love each other, but they are best friends. They love to make the each other happy. They like surprise each other… so much so, that they each surprised the other with their wedding bands and neither of them knew about it until the other was putting the ring on their finger! It was fun watching their faces light up as they realized that they were both surprising each other with their rings at the same time! Gosh, I love these two :)

With a wedding party of 24 people (not counting the bride and groom), you would expect things to be crazy and complicated, but not Greg and Jenny’s group. Everyone was so kind and fun to work with. Greg and Jenny’s dogs also joined us for a few portraits too! I always love it when puppies join us on the wedding day!

At the end of the evening, we had a surprise fireworks show before we sent Greg and Jenny off with a sparklers departure. My favorite!  It was truly a lovey, lovely day and the perfect way to end our 2018 wedding season!

Greg and Jenny, we love you guys! I have so enjoyed every interaction I’ve had with you guys over the past year. We loved that your beautiful wedding was the one that we finished our year with. It was perfect in every way! I hope you guys are having a lovely honeymoon! In case you have service, would you like to see a few of my favorites from your day? :-D
