Dylan & Candace || Engaged

September 19, 2017

For a minute, we thought hurricane Irma and the following week of non-stop rain were going to cancel our plans for this shoot.  But photoshoot day could not have been more stunning and sunshiney, albeit warm. But hey, we’ll take warm over rain or cancellation any day! Besides, it got us one of my favorite engagement session shots this year, the photo above! That light is just heaven!! And Dylan and Candace’s outfits? On. Point.

Dylan and Candace are one of those couples that had me SUPER excited to do their engagement session from the day I met them… and I technically didn’t actually meet Dylan until the engagement session, but Candace and her mom and sister had told me so many wonderful things about him that I felt like I had already met him.

The day of the shoot was, like I said, perfectly sunshiney and warm. A lovely day for a shoot. Dylan and Candace rocked that shoot from minute one! Literally. I know I say that alot, but I only say it because it’s true! They were easy to photograph because they were so naturally in sync with each other and they were all smiles… and you know how much I love happy couples!

This shoot was also probably the most dramatic shoots I’ve ever done because we almost got eaten by a SNAKE! (Ok fine, we didn’t even see a snake, but a jogger passed by said they saw one, so… we were very careful after that!) ;-)

Dylan and Candace, you are so wonderful! You made my job easy and oh so much fun! I loved hanging out with you guys and cannot wait until your wedding day! Less than a year to go! It’ll fly by, I promise!

Enjoy a few of my favorite photos from your shoot! :)
