I think it’s safe to say that everyone who knows Joe and Alexis are so so happy that the two of them are finally married! Joe and Alexis spent a majority of their engagement in separate countries while Joe has been deployed as a pilot overseas. If you want to swoon, you have to read a little more about their story (and see their photos!) on their engagement session blog from earlier this year.
This wedding day was about as perfect as it could’ve been! Joe and Alexis were surrounded by people who are so happy for them and who care deeply for them. The weather was beautiful, the venue was beautiful, I am obsessed with their florals and decor (just wait til you see it!!!), and everything went off without a hitch. I know alot of that has to do with their fabulous team of vendors, including M. Elizabeth Weddings and Events. We always love working with those ladies!
Something that struck me about Joe and Alexis’s wedding day (and just Joe and Alexis themselves) is how important relationships and quality time is to them. I noticed it when I met them at their consultation, again at their engagement session, and it was all the more apparent on their wedding day. I really enjoyed watching their eyes light up each time they hugged their guests. You could tell it really meant alot to them to have each and every person their to celebrate the day with them. It makes me so happy to see that at the weddings we shoot.
We really enjoyed everything about this wedding. Yet again, we got to work with some of the most pleasant, lovely bridesmaids and groomsmen and families. But that came as no surprise to me considering who the bride and groom were.
Joe and Alexis, you’re truly gems. We love you guys and we’re so very happy that you’re finally married and starting this new, exciting chapter in your lives. We wish you all the joy in the world! I have just a few favorites photos I want to share with you all, if that’s ok! ;-) Enjoy!

Orange roses have special meaning for Joe and Alexis, so they had one tucked into Alexis’s bouquet <3 Father daughter first looks never get old! I love them so much! To say that we are all so happy that Joe and Alexis are married is an understatement! Alexis’s veil was made in India for Joe’s future bride (before Joe was even born, I believe). It was so special that Alexis wore it on their wedding day… who wouldn’t want to wear this stunning veil?! I love all the detail! This is the exact spot where Joe and Alexis first met years and years ago… it was so special to be able to take photos in that spot on their wedding day!
