September 10, 2020

This past Sunday, we FINALLY got to celebrate with Chris and Lindsey the way they had originally planned to celebrate their wedding day! If you remember my last blog back in April, Chris and Lindsey had to postpone their April wedding due to COVID-19. They decided to still get married on their original April wedding day in a private backyard ceremony before their parents (and me and the pastor). It was a beautiful day and a beautiful ceremony. One of my favorites to date, actually. But even still, we were all anticipating and eager for September 6th to get here so that Chris and Lindsey could celebrate with their friends.
This wedding was actually my first wedding in over a year, thanks to maternity leave immediately followed by a global pandemic ;-) Getting back into the wedding game was even more fun and exciting than I expected, and I know that Chris and Lindsey had alot to do with that. I really love this couple. They are ridiculously adorable together and so easy to photograph and be around. Their wedding was FUN. That is the best word I can use to describe it. SO. MUCH. FUN!
I know I already mentioned this in Chris and Lindsey’s backyard ceremony blog, but I have to mention it again… Lindsey and I go way back. Almost 10 years, I think. Lindsey is my Most Photographed Bridesmaid (8+ times now, I think!). But not only that, she is now my Most Photographed Bride too, thanks to their first wedding in April! This girl is on fire! Oh and Chris is my Most Photographed Groom, so he deserves a special shout out too!
I am truly thrilled for Chris and Lindsey and truly honored that they asked me to document their wedding day(s). We love you both so much! Thank you for being just a delight and a joy to work with!
I really wanted to show the LIFE and JOY and FUN of the day and I hope you see that when you look at these photos :)
Special thanks to my second shooter for the first part of the wedding day, Aislinn from Ais Portraits!
