Christmastime Is Here!

Lifestyle, My Home, Personal

December 5, 2012

I love this time of year! Scarves and sweaters, shopping for gifts, Christmas music, twinkling lights, holiday get togethers with friends and family. It’s truly my favorite time of year!  I’ll admit it, this year we decorated our house for Christmas a little earlier than we usually do and I started listening to Christmas music a little earlier than I usually do. I’m not ashamed of it either :)

Since our home is decorated a little differently this year than it was last year, I thought I’d post some updated photos! I love our simple Christmas decor this year. Nothing crazy or busy and it’s not going to be a pain to clean up after the new year. Woohoo! I love everything from our stockings — one for Will, one for me, and one for Ellie :) — to our wrapping paper.

I thought it might be fun to show you what our simple decor looks like this year. Enjoy!

Our First Married Christmas ornament and our First Married Disney ornament :)

I love our wreath!  :-D

How bout a little game of “Where’s Ellie Hiding?”

I have been wanting a record played for awhile. What perfect time buy get one than at Christmas? Complete with Bing Crosby Christmas music.

Ellie posed very nicely for me. I didn’t even have to ask her to :)

This will be my last blog post before me and Will head off to our favorite place — Disney World! I am always excited to go to Disney World, but I am even more excited to be visiting at Christmastime! I will also be fulfilling a little dream of mine… Engagement Session at Disney! YEP! I’m so excited!

My very first Disney trip was at Christmastime right after me and Will got engaged. It was so magical! Let’s reminisce, shall we? *All photos below were taken with point and shoot cameras and an iphone*

I'd love to chat with you!

I can’t wait to see the engagement pictures! Your house looks precious and I literally laughed out loud at that picture of Ellie under the the table! Merry Christmas!
