Dylan and Candace are married! Ahhh! What a PERFECT day! Everything was stunning… and I mean everything! Stunning bride, stunning weather, stunning sunset, stunning florals… incredible. This wedding was such a fun one to photograph from the moment we arrived. Candace did a first look with her bridesmaids, then with her dad, followed by a first look with her handsome groom, Dylan. All three were beautiful moments that I’m still smiling about today :)

Dylan and Candace got married at the gazebo on Burritt on the Mountain just before sunset, with a soft breeze blowing the entire time. It was out of a fairy tale. Their sunset portraits afterwards are some of my favorites this year! Looks like these two are on track to make my favorite photos from 2018 list ;-)

Burritt recently completed some new additions, including a gorgeous new spot for ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions at the overlook. This wedding was my first time shooting since the new updates and I am a little more than obsessed. Wait until you see Dylan and Candace’s first dance photos at the overlook with the string lights and the blue and orange evening sky in the background! And then Candace and her dad’s capital A-mazing choreographed dance! So good!! After all of that fun, Dylan and Candace’s many talented guests/dancers tore up that dance floor (when the bride is a dancer, dancer guests are a given)! It was a fun and lovely and perfect evening! I loved this wedding day and this couple so much.  And I look forward to more weddings and receptions at Burritt in the future!

Dylan and Candace are currently honeymooning in my favorite place, Maui, Hawaii (jealous!). Hopefully they are enjoying the island and not getting online;-), but juuuust in case, I had to share some of my favorite photos on the blog today!

Dylan and Candace, we love you guys so very much! As we left your wedding, Will commented on how much he really liked you guys and your families and wedding party and I agreed with him wholeheartedly. You guys are just wonderful and incredibly easy and fun to work with! Thank you for having us there to celebrate with you! I’m excited to show you some of my favorite photos from your wedding day!  Yet another sweet father daughter first look that brought me to tears! Next, it was time for Dylan to finally see his bride!  The photo on the right was a recreation of mine and Dylan and Candace’s favorite poses from their engagement session :) They do it so well!  Dylan gets all the credit for “fluffing” Candace’s train in the photo below! I’m so impressed! I think I’ll add him to my wedding day dress fluffing team :) Favorite!!!  Is anyone else swooning over this LIGHT like I am?!   We could not have had a more stunning sunset for sunset portraits!!!  Another favorite of mine!   New favorite first dance photo!  Candace and her dad surprised everyone with the BEST choreographed dance! Such a fun, fun night!
