Surprise Proposal || Alex and Christina

Engagements, Photoshoot

July 24, 2019

I LOVE photographing proposals! I’ve never been a part of one that I didn’t absolutely swoon over. And Alex and Christina’s proposal was no different!

Alex contacted me a month or two before the proposal and we talked all the fun little details leading up to proposal day. Alex planned to propose to Christina at her parents house on top of the mountain while her family was out of town. Outside on the patio, Alex set up a table with roses and strung photos of their relationship in the background of the proposal spot overlooking the valley. I had the fun job of getting the rose petal path all set up before their arrival (is there anything more fun than making a rose petal path?!)

The anticipation I was feeling waiting for Alex and Christina to arrive was so exciting! I can only imagine how Alex was feeling!

They arrived and told Christina to wait in the car while he grabbed something inside. Alex came in and got into position, then texted Christina and asked her to come inside… you know what happens next ;-)

After the proposal, we did a mini engagement session to help them celebrate being newly engaged! It was a wonderful experience and I am so honored and thrilled that I got to be a part of it!
